Full Stack, full passion
Using the latest technologies and trends, I build applications that are not only visually compelling, but engineered to last.

Hi! I'm Lars Dobbelaere, a 21-year-old Full Stack Development student at Howest in Courtrai.
With experience in both front-end and back-end projects, I'm passionate about building complete digital experiences from database to interface.
My approach is driven by curiosity and creativity, and I strive to deliver elegant solutions that enhance the user experience.

Crafting designs that are visually appealing and resonate with the target audience, leading to greater engagement and satisfaction.
I explore the latest tools and technologies to ensure your project stays ahead of the curve.
I tell stories through pixels, transforming ordinary interactions into extraordinary digital experiences.
I'm enthusiastic about working together and exploring the magic of design and development alongside others.
My design process starts with understanding user needs and gathering inspiration. From sketching and wireframing to prototyping, I focus on user-friendly and visually appealing solutions.
To me, full stack means taking ownership of the entire product, from database design and API logic to a polished user interface. Being able to work across both ends allows me to make better decisions and build more coherent applications.
Best practices such as clean and efficient code form the foundation of every project. Regularly testing across different devices and browsers ensures a consistent user experience.
For design I rely on Figma, combined with development tools like Visual Studio Code and Git for version control. On the front-end I work with frameworks like Next.js, Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap, while on the back-end I use Node.js, MySQL, Docker and Azure for deployment.
My main stack includes Node.js, MySQL for relational data, Docker for containerisation, and Azure for cloud deployment. I'm comfortable working with REST APIs for client-server communication and enjoy exploring new tools whenever a project calls for it.
Feedback is crucial to my growth. I'm open to suggestions and use them to improve my designs and code, ensuring the final result meets the expectations of users and stakeholders.
As a student, I love sharing ideas and exploring design.
